Research Analyst

Casey Hogan is a Research Analyst for IDC Energy Insights’ Renewable Energy Strategies and Distributed Energy Strategies programs.

Ms. Hogan provides market research support for renewable energy, distributed energy, and intelligent grid technologies; and on the associated policy, regulatory, and business issues relating to renewable and distributed energy. She also collaborates with other IDC Energy Insights analysts on research reports and client communications.

Ms. Hogan contributes to the IDC Energy Insights Community (http://idc-insights-community.com/energy) and tweets (@CaseyHogan_IDC) on energy topics.

Ms. Hogan graduated with a B.A. in Economics from the University of Wisconsin - Madison. She then completed a Geographic Information Systems Graduate Certificate, also from the University of Wisconsin. Ms. Hogan received her MPA in Environmental Science and Policy from Columbia University’s School of International and Public Affairs. Prior to joining IDC, she worked as a consultant at a greenhouse gas emission reduction firm specializing in GHG accounting, policy and market research.
