Arthur Melet joined IDC Energy Insights as a senior research analyst for the oil and gas sector in 2012. In this role, he contributes to IDC's oil and gas sector research, covering the Middle East, Africa, Turkey, Russia, and Central Asia, while also working on custom consulting projects and presenting at IDC events across the region.

Prior to joining IDC, Mr. Melet worked as the energy attaché at the French Embassy in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. He was in charge of producing comprehensive analyses about Saudi public policies and projects in the energy industry. He also worked as an analyst at the French energy regulation authority. Mr. Melet has previous experience working as a consultant in the energy sector at Capgemini Consulting in Paris, France.

Arthur Melet graduated from Science Po Rennes and holds a master's degree in management of innovation from Ecole Centrale Paris.
